  • Single screw extruder: Simple structure, lower cost, and suitable for extrusion of single materials. It is mainly used for melting and extrusion of plastics.
  • Twin screw extruder: More complex structure and higher cost, ideal for processes such as mixing, compounding, and reactive extrusion, capable of handling multiple materials and high-viscosity materials.

  • Single screw extruder: Suitable for extrusion of single materials like polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and more.
  • Twin screw extruder: Suitable for blending and compounding various materials such as engineering plastics (ABS, PC), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), biodegradable materials, and more.

The production capacity depends on factors such as screw diameter, speed, and material properties. The single screw extruder typically offers a capacity of 0-500 kg/h, while the twin screw extruder can handle 0-2000 kg/h. Specific capacities depend on the equipment model and process parameters.
